If you don't want to use these color palletes, you can browse our Color library to choose your own.

Aqua Maroon Dark Teal Green White
black color palette gold color palette maroon white white

Step two:

Choose the 7th color of the Aqua color pallete to create the general shape of bulbasaur.

step2

Step Three:

Take the time to add in the eye placement mark and the nostrils.

image

Step Four:

Use the nostrils and the eye placement mark to add in the shapes of the eyes, all using the 8th color of the aqua color pallete, as you can Bulbasaur's basic shape is almost formed..

image

Step Five:

Did you notice in step four that bulbasaur, basically only has nubs for feet? Well this is the step where we draw in the nails, they are like small pointy triangles.

image

Step Six:

Every pokemon needs to eat so we can give him a mouth in this ep, it's asically a rather simple shape.

step 6

Step Seven:

Add in some lines for the eyballs within the sockets

image

Step Eight:

Add in the pupuil so the eyes are finished.

image

Step Nine:

Now using the same color add in the teeth that make give the pokemon it's wild look.

image

Step Ten:

In this step we take the time to add in decoration all over bulbasaurs body, what is a bulabasaur without it's singanture spotted skin patter. The pattern is random and consist of splotches and random blobs.

image

Step Eleven:

Step eleven is all about adding in the preciould bulb to the back of bulbasaurs back.

image

Step Twelve:

Now it's time to color in bulbasaur. for this step we will color in bulbasaurs skin with the 4th color of the aqua color pallete.

image

Step Thirteen:

Using the 5th color of the Dark teal color pallete oclor in the skin pattern.

image

Step Fourteen:

This is where we use the maroon color palette finally. Use the 3rd color of the palelte to fill in Bulbasaurs tongue.

image

Step Fifteen:

Use the 7 color of the aqua color palelte to fill in the dark color of bulbasaurs mouth.

image

Step Sixteen:

Use the 4th color of the maroon color palette to fill in the eyeballs

image

Step Seventeen:

Using the 3rd color of the green color pallete, fill in the bulb.

image

Step Eighteen:

In this step we begin adding the shading onto the main body of our pokemon using one shade darker than the color chosen for the main skin.

image

Step Nineteen:

For this step we will begin adding shading to bulbasaurs tounge. Choose then next darkest color of the Maroon color palette.

image

Step Twenty:

In this step use the seventh color of the maroon color palttte the shade in the top part of the eyeballs. Be sure to leave the pupils alone as we won't be shading those.

image

Step Twenty One:

You guessed it! Now we are going to shade in the bulb that rests on bulbasaurs back. You can shade the by choosing the 5th Green color, and darken the back half of the bulb, as it's the furthest away.

image

Step Twenty Two:

This step is going to seem a bit remedial, but I need for you to choose a shade a dark teal that is ligher than the base color, as it will serve as highlight, and shade in part of the decorative pattern, that is on the front legs.

image

Step Twenty Three:

Use the lightest color the Dark Teal color palelte to add in the highlights, they are a bit random but they are closest to the edge of the outline. Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed learning how to draw the pokemon bulbasaur.
