Black Color Palette (optional)

Step One

we begin this tutorial with drawing the face.Chibi Goku's basic face shape is not something that is too hard to draw, it's basically a bunch of curvy lines that form his head. You can use my image below as an example to knock this very easy step out of the way.

Step two:

This is where we add in the crazy, yet unique style that is goku's hair. Chibi goku has the same style hair as adult goku, as saiyan the hair does not change. Start out with the hair that is the few spikes coming from the back of his neck and work your way forward.the key here to remember is that anime hair is typically drawn in large clumps.

Step Three:

In this step all we do is draw in the eybrow, that is normally found with all dragon ball characters, in it's simple triangle poiny shape. This step is important, yet simple.

Step Four:

the Dragon ball eyes that Chibi Goku has are different than the standard Dragon Ball Z eyes. As you can see in the image below, Chibi Goku has a softer look in his eye than most Dragon ball characters. We are trying to captivate Goku's innocence and his childlike nature.

Step Five:

This step is important as you are going to need to add in the details to the ear, the neck area, and the scuff mark found near the eye.

Step Six:

I could just teach you how to draw the clothes in one big step, but that might lead some of you to confusion. So when they step all we are going to do is focus on the upper part of the shirt, and part of the arm.

Step Seven:

drawing the pants of Chibi Goku does not take much skill at all, as long as you can get the basic shape down, you won't have much to worry about. The further a further along we go there more this looks like Chibi Goku. Only a few more steps to complete the image.

Step Eight:

Drawing the hand of goku is what the goal is in this step. Be sure to leave the hand open.

Step Nine:

Chibi Goku can't just have one arm, so we get to add in the other arm is just a simple curved line. It extends from the top part of the shirt and stops right towards his hand. This gives the illusion of them having two hands cuppled together.

Step Ten:

alright! Every hero needs some shoes, the same is true for Chibi Goku. Adding in the Anime characters shoes right where his hands are, complete the overall allusion.

Step Eleven:

Add in the details and the scuff mark to goku's pants to make them more realistic.

Step Twelve:

In this last step add in goku's singature saiyan tail, there you have it, your goku line art is now finished.

Part Two

Of course this artwork is not completely finished, as we still need to color and shade it. Instead of making one incredibly superlong tutorial, we divided it up into two pieces.Feel free to follow the following link to continue where we left off.
