Needed Materials
Graphic Creating Software
Basic Computer Skills
Black Color Palette (optional)
Step One
The first thing that we are going to do is open up our graphic editing/creating software. For most of us this will be Photoshop. After opening the program create a new document. To begin first we need to pick a point to begin the face. Simply use a few curvy lines to get the basic shape down. make sure you don't forget to draw the elf ears.

Step two:
In this next step we will place in the eyes above those you should include Chibi Link's eyebrows. Note that all of thise shapes are simpley circles and lines.

Step Three:
A key to drawing anime is use simple yet effective techniques. In this step we take a few minutes to add in some details to the eyes. This is not a major step but it is important to get our chibi link looking like link. Besides who wants to draw an anime character that does not have an eye.

Step Four:
Drawing anime hair is a lot simpler than it looks. I used a bunch of thick lines to draw his hair. Once you get the direciton going right and realize that hair wraps around the head, you will get the hang of it. Notice that anme hair is generally drawn in large clumps, and is not done in individual strands. You will notice by this point it is starting to look more and more like link.

Step Five:
This step is just another stop, and take the time to add some detail step. it's amazing how adding a nose an amouth, and a few lines in the cheek aread bring a lot more depth to a character.

Step Six:
We add in Link's famous little hat. It is imparative to understand that the hat is a major part of chibi Link, it's well over exagerated and adds to his "cute" factor. Its basically made up some curvy lines, almost like a curvy rounded triangle portruding from the back of his head.

Step Seven:
Time for some clothing, we begin to start his shirt following the flow of his neck. These lines aren't very curvty they are sharp and angular compared to the others we've been drawing.

Step Eight:
What kind of hereo doens't have arms? We cant have that. His left arm is basically two lines that taper off at the botom. His right arm a simple shape that tapers off at the end too.

Step Nine:
This last step is adding in some detail lines, basically some foldiing lines in the shirt. And there you have it congradulations, you've successfully created your very own chibi link.
