Step Two
Select the 6th color of the Sea foam Green palette and create the outline of the head. Below you will see the basic shape, it is nothing that is too complicated.
Step Three
Now we are going to switch palettes, in this step we will be using the 6th color of the yellow palette to create the jaw line of Turtwig.
Step Four
In this step fill in the jaw line with the 3th color of the yellow palette, use the 6th color of the mud palette to add the head covering.
Step Five
This is a very simple step, all you need to do is fill in the plant stem with the 3rd color of the Mud Brown palette.
Step Six
A very significant part of the Pokemon Turtwig is the leaves that extend from the top of it's head. Choose the 6th color of the Teal palette to draw in the leaf shapes.
Step Seven
In this step all you need to do is color in the leaves with the 3rd color of the Teal color palette.
Step Eight
In this step we take time to add some minor details. Use the 6th color of the Sea foam palette to add in the nostrils. Also use the 6th color of the Yellow palette to draw in the eye.
Step Nine
Turtwig's are supposed to be yellow so we have to fill in the eye with the 3rd color of the yellow palette
Step Ten
Okay now that the head is basically finished it is time to move on to the rest of the character. Use the 6th color of the Mud Brown palette to draw in the shell.
Step Eleven
That shell seems a bit empty. You can solve that problem by filling in the shell with the 3rd color of the Mud Brown palette.
Step Twelve
Use the 6th color of the Sea foam Green color palette to create the body. All you need is this basic shape to represent it for now.
Step Thirteen
Another simple step to complete, take the 3rd color the Sea foam Green palette to fill in the body.
Step Fourteen
Using the 6th color of the Sea foam palette draw in the legs, use the 3rd color to remove the lines you don't need. Take not as to how I use the basic body shape for leg placement.
Step Fifteen
So that all of the parts of Turtwig match, fill in the legs with the 3rd color of the Sea foam palette.
Step Sixteen
The legs are almost finished all we have to do is use the 3rd color of the Yellow color palette to add the leg decoration.
Step Seventeen
Now its time to begin the shading. Choose the 4th color the Sea foam Green Palette to add in the shading. Pay attention to the actual light source. Also you can add the highlight by using the 2nd color of the Sea foam Green color palette.
Step Eighteen
Take the time to use the 4th color of the Yellow palette to shade the jaw of Turtwig. You don't have to shade the eye, or the yellow decoration on the legs.
Step Nineteen
Now use the 4th color of the Mud Brown color palette to represent the shading for the shell and twig. My image below shows how mine looks.
Step Twenty
In this final step use the Teal color palette to choose the 4th color palette to shade the two leaves.
