Draw The Pokemon Weedle Tutorial
Introduction
This tutorial is a step by step guide that informs you the reader how to draw the popular pokemon weedle. This bug pokemon has been featured in almost every pokemon game. Whether you are a pokemon fan or not this tutorial is great for someone who is wants to learn some basics techniques for drawing. Learn how to color, and shade. You can follow the tutorials in any program including Adobe Photoshop, Ms Paint, Gimp or any other raster image software.

Color Palettes
Step One
As mentioned above this tutorial will teach you how to create the Pokemon Weedle. Before starting it is important to plan what color we are going to need. Below you will find the color palletes that I chose. You don't have to use these, but these are the colors I will be refering to throughout this tutorial.
If you don't want to use these color palletes, you can browse our Color library to choose your own.

Step two:
To start out we select the 6th color of the Gold color palette and draw a circle.
Step Three:
Continue to use the 6th color of the palette and repeat step 2 several times so that you have 8 circles each getting smaller and smaller. Be sure to have the circles create a curve like patter as shown below.
Step Four:
In this step we begin to fill in the circles with the 4th color of the Gold color palette. Make sure you fill in all of them.
Step Five:
In this step we will be using two colors to create the eyes. Draw two very small black circles toward the top of the head using the 6th color of the black color pallete. Then use the 1st color fo the White color palette to add in the pupil. Yes this is a very simple step but and important one.
Step Six:
In this step we use the Maroon palletes 6th color to begin the outline of the nose. The shape is a squished circular/ oval shape.
Step Seven:
In step seven all you need to do is color in the nose with the 3rd color.
Step Eight:
Use the 6th color of the Maroon palette to creat little circles that will represent the feet of our little caterpillar friend. Use thei mage below as placement guide.
Step Nine:
In this next step use the 3rd color to fill in each circle.
Step Ten:
Step 10 is all about adding in the stinger found on weedle's tale, and the horn that is found on it's head. Use the 6th color of the White pallette to create these outlines.
Step Eleven:
Using the third color fill in both the stinger and the horn that sits a top the weedles head..
Step Twelve:
In this final step we take the time to use the 5th colors of the all three color palettes and begin to shade in the areas of the body. And there you have it, your pokemon is now finished.
